1. Do I need an appointment to try on gowns?

No, you do not need an appointment to try on gowns. We do however offer private appointments, upon request for a Saturday or Sunday before we open. Saturday from 8-9:30, and Sunday from 8- 9.  Please call ahead at 401-451-8514, or email at sales@wishingwellbridal.com            

2. When should I order my gown?

Once you have selected your gown, it takes about 4 months for the dress to arrive . We require a half deposit to order, and balance be paid within 30 days after arrival. The dress is stored free of charge. Also there is no tax and we do not charge for shipping special orders to the store. Bridal garment bags are always included.                                           

3. Am I allowed to take pictures? 

Yes you are. Many shops prohibit the use of cameras. Feel free to bring your camera along. Our staff will be more than happy to take photos to help you document this special occasion.           

4.Do you carry small and large sizes?

We pride ourselves in giving a wide range of sizes for every bride. We carry size 8 through 30 in stock.

5. What if I plan to lose weight?

No problem. We order your dress according to your measurements. It is much easier to take a gown in than to let it out.

6. Do you offer alterations?

We always have an on-site seamstress to answer any questions you may have, even before the gown is ordered. If you want to make changes on any gown, she will let you know if and how it will be done. Alterations are done in the store and free of charge with certain designers.

7.Do you offer many bridal gowns for a bride on a budget?

We certaintly do. There are many discountinued sample gowns ranging in a variety of sizes. The prices can't be beat from $100.00-$500.00. 

8.Why are your prices lower than most bridal shops?

We believe in fair pricing policies based on good business practices. All the bridal gowns and bridesmaids, etc.. have price tags. If you are working within a budget, don't go over it. We will find the perfect gown for you within your price range. We do not add on any unexpected charges, such as storage, garment bags, or manufacturing shipping charges.

9. When will I know the delivery date of my gown?

After you put your deposit on your gown, we call in the order right away, (unless it is a weekend when companies are closed). Every manufacturer will give you the shipping date over the phone when the order is placed. If you order on a Saturday, you will know Monday when the dress will arrive.

10. Why should I buy my dress at The Wishing Well Bridal?

We have been family owned for over 50 years. We pride ourselves with an exceptional staff and seamstresses. We try and make our customers enjoy a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We have nothing to hide and encourage customers to ask whatever questions/concerns they may have. We pride ourselves in honesty and fair pricing. Keeping designer tags in dresses, taking pictures, knowing the prices of the gowns, making sure brides work within their price range. We are open 7 days a week for your convenience. As stated in the "about us" page. Our website is dedicated in memory of our mom, Patricia Wishnevsky. She is the foundation (along with our dad) who has made the Wishing Well Bridal Southern New England's Premiere Bridal Salon.
